Appointments

When you contact our office for an appointment, please provide a brief description of your eye problem so that we may allot the proper amount of time for your visit. Before your initial appointment you will receive a Patient Information Form for you to complete prior to your visit unless it’s an emergency appointment. This form will cover information about your insurance policies, as well as personal information which includes your medical history. Also, please be sure to bring with you a list of any medications that you are currently taking, and a list of any eye surgeries or medical surgeries, if you’ve had any.

We are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call our office at any time or in the event of an emergency and the doctor will be contacted immediately to assist you. Our office hours are Monday thru Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Your Experience with us…

During the exam you will be given dilating drops in both eyes which will affect your vision for 3-4 hours after the exam. It is important that you are accompanied by a friend or family member to provide transportation after the exam is completed. We also recommend that you bring a pair of sunglasses with you to wear home to make the trip more comfortable. For added convenience and expedience of medical treatment, a full time ophthalmic photographer is on staff. If required, this enables you to have a Flourescein Angiography or ICG during your visit. Our digital imaging system provides results immediately which allows you and the doctor to review the findings at once.

Please be prepared to spend approximately 2-3 hours with us. If you are a diabetic, please bring a snack with you.
